After the Lord of the House, the most important person in any castle is the family priest. Castell d'Eramprunya is blessed with the presence of Cardinal Manel, here on the right. Mortal Cardinals wear a red hat, but by Papal dispensation, granted in 1304, the Cardinal of Castell d'Eremprunya gets to wear a distinctive blue Cardinal's hat. Here Cardinal Manel is chatting to his companion, Sidsel. Son Trym and daughter Ragnhild can be spotted here and there but moved rather fast for the camera. |
